Online

I've worked on projects that gained national and global recognition online. I enjoy bringing people's ideas to life across different platforms, reaching diverse audiences beyond the usual.

Like A Version (2016-2023)

During my time at triple j, I had the pleasure of organizing multiple Like A Version performances for the weekly segment. This included liaising musicians, planning roll-out schedules across multiple platforms,  working with triple j’s Live Music Team on weekly live recordings and more

While working on the series, multiple performances i helped co-ordinate went on to make multiple Hottest 100 countdown, chosen by listeners as some of their favourite tracks of the year. Two CD compilations went to number #1 in ARIA album charts on release.

Some personal favourites I helped bring to the airwaves include;

The Choice Is Yours Part Redux - Dec 2019

Triple j: Jess Hallau

Throughout one week, Veronica and Lewis offered up horrible stuff they could make each other do, then handed over the reigns of their lives to triple j listeners to see what would happen. This resulted in Lewis doing an exit interview with a ex girlfriend live on the air and Veronica teenage modelling photos being released to the world.

Not only did this week result in an exceptionally high number of downloads of the triple j app (which we ran the voting system through), but several of the weeks events were covered by national and international publications including The Daily Mail.

VL-ARIA-3.jpg

triple j - Oct & Nov 2019

Ran a campaign over several weeks to win a ARIA award for triple j’s Drive show. Included recording a music video, getting support videos from other artists and culminated in a special live broadcast from the ARIA’s red carpet. Covered by several publications including Junkee.

triple j boss pranks hosts

triple j - Sept 2018

With a new boss at the helm of triple j, Breakfast hosts Ben & Liam decided to roast the boss with a 6am wakeup call over a few days. Little did they know, they were only creating a prank war they would fall victim to.

Working with several triple j staff members, i helped create a “totally legit” interview happen for the Breakfast hosts with Kendrick Lamar. But it could only happen if they came in, at 6am ON A SATURDAY.

They fell for it and we captured their broken hearts in this social media video, which got picked up by several publications including news.com.au, Junkee, The Daily Mail and more.

The Dylan Alcott memorial tribute staircases

triple j - May 2018

What started as a joke, turned into a nationwide tribute to paralympian and world tennis star Dylan Alcott.

Having never made it up a staircase by himself, Dylan decided he wanted a staircase in every state dedicated to him. Having limited time and resources, we rallied triple j listeners to help make this dream come true, while Dylan filled in on triple j Breakfast.

After only three days, we have special and totally legitimate dedicated staircases in every Australian state (including a stunt academy, a brewery and Melbourne’s infamous Revolver nightclub)

Sneaking Wu-Tang Clan onto Q&A

triple j - June 2018

Ahead of Dylan Alcott appearing on Q&A, we convinced him to hide several references to his favourite rap collect, Wu-Tang Clan.

Taking instruction from listeners, Dylan managed to get countless hand gestures and lyric shout outs onto the show. Once we revealed the deception, the video was shared by national and international outlets. The band even reached out to Dylan after seeing it for themselves!

The Centrelink Song

triple j - March 2017

Working with Australian Heavy Metal band 12 Foot Ninja, I helped create the new anthem for anyone who has to deal with being on hold with Centrelink.

The song and music video were turned around in a week. It got its national debut on triple j Drive with Veronica & Lewis, before racking up nearly 500,000 views in a week. It also received covering from Junkee, Music Feeds and Tone Deaf.
