Podcasts

I’ve had the opportunity to work on several podcast projects that have successfully topped charts, attracting both local and international audiences, and I am proud to say that some of these projects have even garnered notable industry awards. I possess the skills and experience to assist with the entire podcast journey, starting from the initial brainstorming phase all the way through to the final execution. Here’s just a few examples of my podcasting work that illustrate my capabilities.

Simply The Jest: Australia’s Best Stories

After its success on triple j, I worked with the Drive team and Jess Perkins to turn the popular segment 'Simply The Jest' into a weekly podcast. Now, with over 50 episodes out, it has become a favorite in triple j's podcast collection, regularly topping the Australian comedy charts and building a loyal fanbase.

Listen to all the episodes here.

On this episode of Simply the Jest, we’re hearing simply the best stories from the year. We’ll revisit some of the most jaw dropping stories from 2021, but only one can be declared THE BEST OF THE JEST!

On this episode of Simply the Jest, whack on your helmet and keep a fire extinguisher close by as we hear the stories that made you go..."Whoops!" You’ll hear about an accidental booty call, some deadly fishing bait and a reckless banker.

Inspired

INSPIRED-podcast-art.jpg

Inspired was a weekly podcast series specifically created for triple j Mornings, focused on uncovering the captivating stories behind some of triple j listener’s favorite songs. Over the course of an engaging three years, I had the unique opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of artists, record labels, and devoted fans to meticulously craft highly produced narratives. These stories were enriched by exclusive access to demos and stems of some of the biggest songs in the world, allowing listeners to gain deeper insights into the creative processes behind the music they love.

Personal highlights include;

  • One of the last interviews with Keith Flint from UK dance icons The Prodigy, breaking down his breakthrough song ‘Firestarter’.

  • Electronic legends Stardust on their iconic track ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ for its 20th anniversary.

  • Diving deep on several Hottest 100 winners including Vance Joy’s ‘Riptide’
