Podcasts

I’ve worked on several podcast projects that have topped charts with both local and international audiences, along with winning industry awards.

I’m able to help with the entire podcast journey, from brainstorm to execution. Here’s just a few examples of my podcasting work.

Simply The Jest: Australia’s Best Stories

After becoming a popular live radio segment on triple j, I worked closely with the Drive team & comedian Jess Perkins to develop their storytelling show ‘Simply The Jest’ into a weekly podcast.

With over 50 episodes released, the podcast has become a staple of triple j’s podcast suite, topped the Australian comedy podcast charts & developed a strong fanbase.

Listen to all the episodes here.

On this episode of Simply the Jest, we’re hearing simply the best stories from the year. We’ll revisit some of the most jaw dropping stories from 2021, but only one can be declared THE BEST OF THE JEST!

On this episode of Simply the Jest, whack on your helmet and keep a fire extinguisher close by as we hear the stories that made you go..."Whoops!" You’ll hear about an accidental booty call, some deadly fishing bait and a reckless banker.

Inspired

INSPIRED-podcast-art.jpg

Inspired was a weekly podcast series for triple j Mornings, finding the story behind some of triple j listener’s favourite songs.

Over the course of three years, I was able to work with artists, labels and fans to craft high produced stories, with exclusive access to demos and stems of some of the biggest songs in the world.

Personal highlights include;

  • One of the last interviews with Keith Flint from UK dance icons The Prodigy, breaking down his breakthrough song ‘Firestarter’.

  • Electronic legends Stardust on their iconic track ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ for its 20th anniversary.

  • Diving deep on several Hottest 100 winners including Vance Joy’s ‘Riptide’

Guitars that don’t sound like guitars, drums from hell and a dancer stepping up to the mic for the first time. In this episode of Inspired, Liam Howlett and Keith Flint from iconic UK act The Prodigy dissect the song that made them famous around the world.
